Wednesday 17th June 2015

Today we put the whole school in the hall for JumpJam.We did I like to move it and Funky town.
 Then we did the roll in Maori and we asked the question how many fingers am I holding up.

Justin did sixteen which is "He tekau ma ono nga matimati"
That's what Makaia answered he said that number is sixteen.
Next we did the bus board and news centre.

Then we did Maths.

This term our maths topic is.........FRACTIONS!
We are working out what the numerator and the denominator.
We're also doing fraction sums.

Red: Fraction sums sheet.

Blue: Go thought work and start new work

Green: Mathletics then check work.

Yellow: Yellow Book.

This is blues new work.

Then it was morning tea time.
After morning tea we had a decision if Mrs Roberts read to us or we silent read.
We picked Mrs Roberts then we had to make a decision  of what book Mary's book or a new book that Mrs Roberts is reading.We picked the one that Mrs Roberts is reading. 
Then we talked about our punctuation in our letters that we wrote on Monday.

Next we wrote a story and finished our letters.
This is our wilf.

 
Some of us did it on Cromebook and writing.



Then we did reading till lunchtime.
After lunch we have a lovely drama performance by marzipan drama.
After all of that we had a singing practise.
After we went to the library.

This is our librarian Nadine or Mrs Davidson.
 
Next we did folk dancing.
We had turns of skipping then the year sixs had to show the year fives the la farandole
So we all had a turn and Mr Sheehan said "We still need work"
