Then we went onto the bus down to expressions in Upper Hutt for the day. We had a lady called Rebecca help us go around Expressions and talked to us about photography and tell us the rules in the room. Then we got given a clip board a booklet and a yellow pencil for the gallery to wander some questions.
We looked at some photos and some videos of the pictures.
Here are some pictures to show you
After we had our morning tea.
Then we walked to the library to learn about photos. We got looked after by a guy called Reid there were photos of Plateau school and Upper Hutt in 1990. There were lots of photos. We found out that there was no library and no police stations in Upper Hutt in 1974. We got given pictures of Plateau school and we had to find out what had changed in the years.
Spot the difference.
Then we got to do an activity and we had to try and tell when the photo was taken
There was one team that got them all right.
Then we looked at the negative photos and they were very old
There were some more photos
These photos were called slides
When we had finished at the library we went back to expressions to get our paper for the next activity.
Then we walked out around Upper Hutt to take some photos. We then walked all the way to the Maidstone Max park to take some more photos. Then we walked fast back to expressions to have our lunch. After that we walked to the bus which was just in front of H20 then we got onto I and made our way back to school.
When we got back to school we put our bags away and then we went outside for a play for our lunch time play. We then went back to our classroom and then helped tuatara type their letters. They were writing to other Schools.
Then we went back to the classroom and put up the chairs up and tidied up the class room.
And then we went home.
