2/6/15

Today we started with jump jam we jammed to super star and the witch doctor then we came inside and did the roll. We had to tell the class what we did on the long weekend. The we did some maths on the carpet. Then we did some stuff in our groups Red is the top group and they go to problem solving 

Blue they were with mrs Roberts on the mat 

Green they were on a website 

Yellow were on the same website as green (it's about fractions.)

When we got back from mornig tea we had our milk while mrs Roberts read the book it's called Once 

The first word of every chapter starts with the word once it's about a boy called Phelix and he got put in a orphanage when he was little and he had been in there for 3 years 8 months and 3 days. He thort that his mum and dad would come and get him because there is a hole carrot in his soup. 

Then we did reading groups 

We did a rotation 

So we did story bird and ordenery reading in our groups

  

 Red and blue both went on story bird and green and yellow read then we swaped (every group is reading a Roald Dahl book.)

After lunch we did the roll we had to say the colours in Māori.

 

After that we had to draw something to save the last blue wale out of cards swash ball and a sowing machine. Then we had to draw it on a A3 piece of paper

Then we put up the chairs and tidyed up the classroom.

Then mrs Roberts read some more of Once.

Then it was time to go home.
