Tuesday 30th Of June

Today we started off the day with Jump Jam we did the songs Choco-Late and Funky Town. After we did the roll we had to say good morning. After we did some GoNoodle which is a brain break exercise we did the Llama Song. Then the red maths group went to problem solving. Then we did maths all of us did leaf measuring. Then it was morning tea.
After morning tea we had milk then Mrs Roberts read our book Best Mate. After we all finished our milk and finished reading the chapter of our book. 
Then we got Mrs Moore to come into our class and surprised her by singing her happy birthday and we made a card for her then we did our alliterations.

After we went to folk dancing first we watched a video of our folk dancing from yesterday.
After the video we went to the hall and did the song POUR PASSER LE RHŌNE and Jiffy Mixer.


After folk dancing it was lunch time.
After lunch we did the roll we had to answer the question E Hia Nga Matimati? Which means how many fingers am I holding up we had to reply E .... Nga Matimati which means You are holding up ..... fingers. Then we did finishing off. 

After we did Rakau sticks and watch a video about it.
Then we went outside with the rest of the school to sing happy birthday to Mrs Moore. After that it was time to go home.

Monday 29th Of June

Today we started off the day with Jump Jam we did the songs Witch Docter and Choco-late. After Jump Jam we did the roll we had to say something we did in the weekend,then we read the book Amazing Alphabetical Alliterations.
Got ready to go on our trip to the Kiatoke Regional Park. After a long walk we finally got there and Ranger Steve was waiting for us. Ranger Steve started with a talk and demonstration of planting a tree then we jumped over the fence and started to plant our trees. When we got back we had a fifteen minute play then we came into class and we finished reading our book Amazing Alphabetical Alliterations then we got given a letter and we picked a partner and we had to add a country or place into our alliterations we started to make our own alliterations. 
Soon after that we lined up ready to do folk dancing we did the song POUR PASSER LE RHŌNE. After folk dancing it was time to go home.

Friday 19th June 2015

Today it's Friday so tomorrow is the weekend.
We started the day off today with our housekeeping.
We said what we did in the weekend.
Then we did recorders.


Then we did homework.
This is what we use for homework.
Then we played the rest of the memory game.
After morning tea we had buddy reading.
Then some of us finished off our story and our mathletics and our calligrams.

Then we had a surprise vist from Miss O'Keeffe and her twins.
Then we carried on.

Thursday 18th June 2015.

Today we had JumpJam with our new sound system that Morris our drum instructor gave to us it's so loud!
Next we came into our classrooms and did our housekeeping.
We did the same as yesterday we did how many fingers am I holding up but in Maori.
Juley is the class leader so she told us who is doing what.

Then we did the bus board.After we found out who is on the bus we did the News Centre.
Next we did maths.
Then it was morning tea.
Then we had milk.
We had silent reading.
In silent reading we had to pick a book that will grow our brain cells.
Next we started our story from yesterday.
Next we did reading group.
Before lunch we went to buddy math I went to Tui
Then it was lunchtime.
After lunch we did the roll then we went to singing then Mrs Roberts read the senior syndicate.
Then we did folk dancing.
Then we played a memory game.
That was the end of our day.

Wednesday 17th June 2015

Today we put the whole school in the hall for JumpJam.We did I like to move it and Funky town.
 Then we did the roll in Maori and we asked the question how many fingers am I holding up.

Justin did sixteen which is "He tekau ma ono nga matimati"
That's what Makaia answered he said that number is sixteen.
Next we did the bus board and news centre.

Then we did Maths.

This term our maths topic is.........FRACTIONS!
We are working out what the numerator and the denominator.
We're also doing fraction sums.

Red: Fraction sums sheet.

Blue: Go thought work and start new work

Green: Mathletics then check work.

Yellow: Yellow Book.

This is blues new work.

Then it was morning tea time.
After morning tea we had a decision if Mrs Roberts read to us or we silent read.
We picked Mrs Roberts then we had to make a decision  of what book Mary's book or a new book that Mrs Roberts is reading.We picked the one that Mrs Roberts is reading. 
Then we talked about our punctuation in our letters that we wrote on Monday.

Next we wrote a story and finished our letters.

Some of us did it on Cromebook and writing.



Then we did reading till lunchtime.
After lunch we have a lovely drama performance by marzipan drama.
After all of that we had a singing practise.
After we went to the library.

Next we did folk dancing.
We had turns of skipping then the year sixs had to show the year fives the la farandole
So we all had a turn and Mr Sheehan said "We still need work"

Tuesday 16th June 2015

Today we started the day with jump jam and after jump jam we did the roll and Watson showed one of his birthday presents and most of the Ruru and kea are in netball and basketball.Today Kea will working with us for the whole day. When Kea came Mrs. Roberts told us our activity and read us a story called Alexlander and the Terrible,Horrible,No,Good,Very bad day.

Then we Mrs. Roberts finsihed she asked us about the story and did something like a draft and after that Mrs. Roberts read us a another story called Mr Muggs the library cat it was about a cat that eats rats in an old library and meet a small rat friend.
And then compared he story to a capture book.Then Mrs. Roberts read us a another story called Melu it was about three friends that meet up and trying to get to the glittering green sea.
After that Mrs. Roberts told us our activity wich is an activity boards and it has to be a story about school and the pictures are photographs and we have to be in partners I am with Max and me.
Then it was morning tea and after that we came in the class and Mrs. Roberts asked who remembered what we are doing.Then Mr.Sheenan came told us that we have to make a picture book with your partner but first we had to finish our activity board and here is ours for an example.
Then when we had finished our milk we went to the library to finish our work and issue some books and when you are done we make our picture books.
When we had finished we had to take six photos for our picture book and when you have done that you show the photos to Mr. Sheenan and if he says yes you publish the photos on a google slides.
 
Then it was lunch.After lunch we carried on with the activity that we were doing and Craig and Lennox are showing us their picture book.When they were finished we carried on with our work and we are going to shared our pictures book to the class.

Then we went home
