Thursday and Friday

Thursday was a very busy day.We had the Movemprove people come in, the soccer tournament was on, the BP technology challenge and Penetana came in.

In movemprove we were doing an obstical course with a spider web.We had to incorporate all the supports.When Penetana came in we learnt how to incorporate tera into our sentences and we practised our greetings and colours.

At the soccer tournament we placed 3rd equal and were the only team to score against Silverstream,  the team who won the tournament.Our first game we won 2-1 against Trentham.Our second game we won 2-0 against Birchville. Our third game we won 7-0 against Silverstream B and our fourth game we won 3-0 against Mangaroa.After that we were able to get to the semi finals were we lost 2-1 against Silverstream A.

At the BP technology challenge we placed 3rd in the mystery challenge.The mystery challenge was where we had to build a marble run using only newspaper,card and cellotape.We got points for how many turns and change of direction we had.We also got points for what the marble got on the target that was placed 1 meter from the end of the run .

On Friday we had Amy Burrell come in and tell us about her book.While up there she drew Liam from Paua and Lorelei from Kiwi.She showed us some photos of when she came here and read us her book "Catch That Fly."
