Narnia Day 22 August

We finished reading the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe last week and so we had a dress up day and a shared morning tea. Most people dressed up as characters from the books. We had some interesting white witches and even a wardrobe. After we finished watching the movie we played dodge ball with Kea class.

After dodgeball we had lunch which was again, delicious and filled with fun, and then Mrs. Olds taught the class. We did a fortune teller in Maori and there was an optional choice to make tinfoil Olympians, which could be doing any sport/event, or we could continue to do our own work. We were allowed to colour in the fortune teller, but we were also allowed to just colour in the flag.

The after noon was spent doing all of the tasks set, and some of our own work.   We were busy and bustling, but we were having fun. We had some amazing tinfoil people, some rather colourful fortune tellers, some fun work being done on Chromebooks, and just all around happiness. We had some fabulous first attempts in learning to make a tinfoil for person, and some people making up to 4 tinfoil people to take home and show their family. The place was busy with fun activities, but also with hard work and learning.
After we finished this fabulous and fun day at school, we headed back to home to our loving families.
