Friday 1st of April

Today we started off with the roll. Then we had some reminders for the Whanau leaders, and the assembly hosts too. After that the class separated from the problem solvers, and went to the hall for singing and  afterwards came back to class and did maths. I am in the problem solvers and we did some Sudoku for kids, work on bedmas, and a problem where we had make all the possibilities for the combinations of darts that hit the dartboard.

After morning tea, we did buddy reading with Pukeko and Tui. Then we took a look at who had done their homework this week. We checked mathletics first and then we checked the reading and spelling ones. For extra homework this week we had to design a logo for Kea and Ruru. We also listened to a speech about sharks.
We then did some must do's and can do's. The whanau leaders also sorted out what they were doing. Then we tried a new method for saving paper while doing the basic facts test.
After lunch we did whanau groups. I happen to be a red vice captain and we did water balloons today. It was lots of fun. Then we did assembly. At assembly we sang two legged mice. Then we did awards, congratulations to the following:
Then Mr. Frater asked if there were any irons awards. Then we did the birthdays happy birthday to:
We did the peer mediation box, teacher notices, the board of trustees came and did a short speech to get people to join, mathletics award that went to Ruru (yay!) and kiwi, whanau points which are kakariki: 379 whero: 390 kahurangi: 448 and kowhai: 459. We had a wonderful slideshow about the weels Wednesday, fancy feet Friday, and Neville's bikes, then we had class of the week which was Ruru (yay again!), and more. Happy April fools and I hope you have a great weekend!
