Monday 20th October

As soon as the bell goes everyone rush to the flag pole for the morning run. when everyone has finished they head back to class Mrs. Roberts does the roll then we did maths by counting up in sixes while looking and when we can't see the numbers after that we did a bit of fractions then we had to do a basic facts test and do some mathletics aswell after we left the mat Mrs. Roberts started the basic facts.

then the bell went for morning tea.

After morning tea we did s.s.r (super silent reading) while drinking our milk then we had to get our topic books and do a brain storm on what the parent's need to help us with.

Then we had to finish our last idea and then have a share of our fundraising ideas. Then we did group reading and who ever was ready first could pick where they want to read.

This is green group (my group)
This is the book my group are reading.

Then we went to solo assembly a bit late by the tuatara class who were showing respect

And saying keep going, well done, come on keep trying, and they were giving people space and weren't walking in extended abstract and in pre structural they were racing and some were walking and then we had a talk about our school values. When we got back to class we had to tidy up.

Then the bell went for lunch.

After lunch we did the roll in māori saying he aha tenei, tena or tera meaning what have I got, what have you got or what is over there.
After the roll we went to singing.
At singing Mr. Frater started talking about the marae

This is a picture of us singing one of the cultural songs we will be singing at the marae.
After that we practised our sign language on the national anthem so we know how to say it in sign language.
This is us singing the national anthem in Māori.
After singing we had to start on our book covers.
After we did our book covers we packed up at quater to 3.
After we packed up we sat on the mat and waited for Mrs. Roberts when Mrs. Roberts sat down she read us the book Mrs. Frisbee and the Rats of NIMH
