Today we started with the roll and then recorder then did homework. Then it was moring tea.

After moring tea we went to buddy reading and then did finishing homework and then sang Te Aroha.
Then did some finishing off.Then lunch time

After lunch we did the roll and then finish off then we tidyed up and then went to assembly.Then it was home time.

Today we started with the run and the roll then we sang happy birthday to Amy becaise it was her birthday . We had Miss Olds. To start off the day we did maths.Today in maths we did some factions. Then we did some more maths. Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we did a bit of reading.Then we played a game you have a word and then you end up with a different word. Then Miss. Olds read the printer.then we did some things to finish.then it was lunch time.

After lunch we did the roll then went and finish things off.Then we went to sport. Then it was home time.

27.10.14

Today we started with the roll and bus-board. Then did a maths investagation. We had find how meny cubes were in the safe so we did volume. Then it was morning tea.


After morning tea we went to the library and we read some books then we did our letters then we did reading groups. Then it was lunch time.

After lunch we went to Paua and some went to kea then we came back then it was home time.







28.10.14

Today we started with the run then went inside and did the roll what did we do in the weekend we had mis Olds because mrs Roberts is doing tests. Then we did some finishing things like math,mathletics,reading eggs,writing letters, then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we read then mis Olds read as a book on our topic then we got started with the letters.then we did reading in our groups. We did that for 30 mins then to was lunch time.

After lunch mis Olds daughter brought her daughter Oliva and then did the roll what was the bad thing in the weekend.Then we did some things on the whitebait connection. Then we finishing off.then we pick up and then it was time to go home.

Monday 15th September

Today we started off with jump jam then came into class to do the roll and the news centre. Because it is Monday  we had our gossip about what we did on the weekend,after that we did maths, in my maths group we were working with Mrs. Roberts .
After that my group glued some problems in our books for us to do tomorrow  then we went to morning tea.


When morning tea was finished it was silent reading and milk time.

Then it was language at 11:10 and Mrs. Roberts read us some of the book once . Our Walt is writing explanations so we are explaining what explanations are.

Here is a picture of a book which is an explanation about water and develeping countries and then did reading groups. 
 
In my group we read about deforestation and how it affects the world. Then we went to lunch, after lunch we did the roll and went to singing today for singing we sang the national anthem .
When we got back from singing we did our calendars 
At the end of the day we watched a Dancesplash video  and read a bit of once and then it was time to go home:D.

Last day week 2

First thing in the morning we rush towards the classroom when the roll was done we shared our homework and our box animals stories. Then kapahaka and enviro group left the classroom then we continued our homework.
Then we continued on our maraes until the bell went for morning tea.
After morning tea we drank our milk and then we finished off our maraes and then kapahaka came back.
Then the bell went for lunch.
After lunch we went to whanau groups. After whanau groups Mrs. Roberts told us what would happen at assembly.
At assembly we celebrated the leaving of Mrs. Imray then the school said goodbye to her and we gave her a card with a baby in a pram on it. Here are the people who made the design:

Thursday 23rd October

Today we didn't go to Ruru after the run instead we went to Paua class because Mrs. Roberts is at the dentist but today lily brought her puppy's to school and gabbed one of them to Mrs. Brown.
Then we had to sort out stickers into categories.
Once we sorted them out we named the categories.
When Paua were doing their mathletics and maths, we rurus continued on our maraes that we started on Monday.
Then the bell went for morning tea.
After morning tea we drank our milk in our class then we went to the mobile library bus. Then we came back and continued to do our lost story then we went to lunch.
After lunch we did the roll with our shoes on, then we played a rounders tournament.

22~10~14

First thing in the morning after the bell we did the run. After the run we did the roll and did it in French when the roll was finished we went to the library.In the library Josh and Kaylee were our librarians, Olivia were working on a farewell card for Mrs. Imray and every body were silent all you could hear was a computer buzzing and the birds chirping. This is a photo of every one reading quitely and with our new posters of our favourite books that we like to read.
Here are some of the books they issued.
After we went to the library we started maths from what we did yesterday.
My group were doing this book.
Then the bell went for morning tea.
After morning tea Mrs. Roberts read to us "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" while we drank our milk.
After Mrs. Roberts read Mrs.frisbee and the rats of NIMH we made started on our lost story thatKevin Boon   challenged us to write. After we wrote some of our lost story Mrs. Roberts made us think of some idea that we like about the school and what we think we can improve on.

Then the bell went for lunch.
After lunch we sang te Aroha after that we continued on colouring in our marae at 15 past 2 we packed up and put our chairs up before Zoe came in.
First we reflected on what we did in Tunnel Gully, Collins stream, then we talked about what our stream is like compared to Collins stream.
But Zoe left at 5 to 3.
Then it was time for the bell to go time to go home.

Tuesday 21st October

When the bell rung everybody scrambled towards the snakes and ladders when mr. Frater got there he told us how many laps to do for the morning run. As always, after the run we did the roll, bus board and news centre. We jumped straight into maths

Today we started with maths

We had to count up in sixes then count all the way back down, then we worked on squared numbers

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 are all sqaured number, well all numbers are squared.

Morning tea went by and then it was time for silent writing, we are writing about this picture

Now we have to go to the libary.

When we were in the libary we got to meet an authur- Mr. Kevin Boon

Mr Boon has written many books here is a few: Lost, Moonbiter, School Journal.



Now he is going to read us one of his books... Lost.

Lost is a long story(20 minutes,) but it was interesting!
We learnt
 from that story you have to tell people where you are going if you are going to go on a walk because tell someone or you can get lost.

Once the story finish we got to ask a few questions

Mr. Boon's favourite book is called: Kezia

Once we came back from the libary the bell rang for lunch.


We came back to class after a hot and tiresome lunch we had to practise our Maori song Te Aroha, Mrs. R told us we sang beautifully (Yay)

Now we are working on making a model of a marae 


Once we tided up the class room we started singing through Te Aroha (the song only goes for 30 seconds)

Mrs. R started reading Mrs Frisby and the rats of Nim, we are up to a chapter called 'The Owl'.

Finally the bell goes and we all say to Mrs. R "good afternoon Mrs. Roberts."
