Monday 3rd of August

We started off the day by doing the roll and Mrs Roberts taught us a new moari sentence Ataahua e te tau in English it means beautiful. Then we did the bus board and we marked all of our maths sheets. If you didn't get up to the sheet you went on mathletics.
Our topic was time.
After we did our sheets we did some measuring.
Then we got some sheets to complete we had to measure all of the pens and pencils in millimetres and centre meters.We had to do two pages and write the answers in our maths books.
Then it was time for morning tea (Yum Yum). Sadly it was raining so we had to stay inside.
After morning tea we did some silent reading. One of the reading groups had to finish there reading book Fantastic Mr Fox.
Once we had finished silent reading we did Solo asembly practice.
After we showed our plays in front of the class in order. 
We practices for the plays then were doing in front of the whole school after lunch. Then we had one more practice untill we were going on stage after lunch. The teacher made a chart of what everyone was doing and what to do.
Then it was lunch time.
After morning tea we did the Roll and we found out what inrichments we were in. 
Then Mr Sheehan came in and canceled the solo asembly. Then we watched a movie called Nims island. We had to do challenges with it and we were reading the movie.
 After we finished half the movie we had to give it to another person to check the spelling. Then we checked how many people got eight correct. The way it worked was we read the movie and Mrs Roberts would pause it and then the last word the characters said is what you would have to write down.
Then we read the story.
After people started to read a paragraph each. The. We did a game of ministers cat.
Then Mrs Roberts read us best mate.
Then the bell rang and it was time to go home.
