Monday 31st of August

This morning we were explained how we we'll do the new basic facts ladder. The difference is it's on paper, and stage 8 and 7 have other questions. Everyone has 4 minutes but stage 8 has 3 minutes 

After morning tea mrs Robets read hatchet. Then we finished of a comma sheat and some read watching. Read watching is when you watch a movie or a documents with subtitle and work out punctuation or comprehesion. After lunch we shared what we did In the weekend   

27 August 2015

Today we started with the, roll and we got sheet eight in the middle of the the roll

 When we where finished we watched a kahurangi performance on YouTube.

Then we carried on a work sheet from last week 

Then we also finished our comma detective from two days ago we have to put, the commas and wewhere  marking it then we went other side of the sheet comma exercise 

There where a lot of questions.  then we went on Microsoft power point for commas  and to see where they should really go.

There are eight questions on the board and try put the punctuation. We stated to mark the work when it was finished then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we went back to class and Mrs Roberts read hatchet. we have got a lot done from the  book (we almost finished the book)

The group kahurangi came and did a performance. it was really cool there were 2 boys 2 boys. When they where done we went to the library

Anna and Haylee read a book to the class then Mrs Roberts was handing the overdue note then it was lunch

After lunch we did the roll and we went to senior sport until the end of the day.

When it was done it was home time

Wednesday 26 August

  Today we started with the roll we said the time is quarter to what ever number it was 

Then Mary showed her dad's old toys money and bagges witch was really cool.

When she was done we went back to the Temperture we stared was really hard the thermomter was going up 2s but only shown the tens and ther was one going 2 and a halve we are going to do the speed basic facks speed test again to beat our old score but this time it's different questions.

Then we are going to do a tempeture sheet but before that we wher talking about if we should do the basic facts on a sheet like this.

When we wher working ther was a earthquake drill (a practice for an earthquake) when we got back it was morning tea

When morning tea finished we went back to class and Mrs Roberts was reading the book called Hachet for a long time. Then we started to talk about commas to see wher they would go so ther wher sentences and with out commas

After that we watched the documentary of a stem word that is said in the documentary pefix and the suffice  then it was lunch

After lunch we did the roll really quickly because we had singing and we did whant to be late the first song. My mums a taxi

When singing was finished we went to erichmint then we went home thanks for reading and looking.

Today we started with the roll,

After the roll we started to have a huge talk about whanau groups and Mr Shehan was doing doubling merit points that got everyone super happy then we had to go onto the Crome books and played around with some apps and make a presentoin.       App

After we had our things done we shared our presentation. Then it was morning tea (we watched Mr Bean)

After morning tea we made a Creativety wher we write about a picher and we had write about it for 15 minets and share them at the end some of them wher prity funny some wher short some was really short and long some really long  

Then we started to do maths to see a way for us to solve 3 + 4 X 5 =. Questions and we are going to

Do more bedmas in B( ) Exponent D divion M X  A+  S subtract. 

After that we went to our table and did it on our sheets of BEDMAS when we finished we went to play a game of dodgeball then it was lunch.

After lunch we went back to class and did the roll then kea came to our class for a game of dodgeball again.

There were 4 teams year 6 boys year 6 girls 5 boy 5 girls the year 6 boys wher the best because they did not lose the all of the games then the year 5 boys fought them selfsthen it was whanau gorops fought each other

Last round of the game was Ruru vs kea ther was a lot of people in each team Ruru was losing ther game at the end of game. Ruru had to clean keas class room then it was home time.

Today we started with the roll

Then we were marking our work from last 

Area and perimeter.

When we were done with marking, Mrs Roberts said the next measurement is temperature but before we started, we did a basic facts speed test for five mintinies there was 100 Qestions.

We marked the Basic facts speed test. When we finished we had to go to the mat to talk about temperature on the white board then we did it on the interactive white board. 

This one is about what is the difference of these thermometers they are five degrees apart because it is 4-1 then it was morning tea time 

After morning tea Mrs Roberts was reading the book called hachet it was hard to understand because we stopped in the middle of the chapter. It is a good book

Now we are going to watch a documentary. We are going to read watch a movie but the subtitles did not work so we have to go and read

Then we started to read all the books then Mr Roberts made it work but it was so close to lunch so she said "keep reading" then it was lunch

After lunch we got a sheet for our documentary about the world 

We watched a little bit without doing anything but when we stopped the first time stopped we had to find words that are on the sheet but some are fake we tick the word that we heard. We started again to see which word is in the film so we started to watch the film more to see the words at the bottom of the page

We watched to half way so then we started to pack up the class then it was time to go home

Today we started the day with JumpJam then we did maths 

After math we had morning tea 

After morning tea we did thinkers key 

We had to see if we could put a country for every single letter of the alphabet.

Then we did gymnastics and then it was lunch 

Then we did our research and we got some notices then we went home

  Today we did maths and maths sheets.

   Some Maidstone kids came to our class and told us about Maidstone.

   We did reading. we read a page each 

   Then we did doge ball and paper scissors rock.

11 August 2015

   Nicholas showed us his presentation of gold cost in Australia.

   We did some math and it was great

   We went to gymnastics  then we did plank and those who do not know what a  plank is, it is when you go in a straight plank position.

10 Augest 2015

Today  we  did maths we did measuring,The teacher went through it with us.

    

We did more math about perimeters.

We read Best Mate it was so good I love it.

   We did more stuff about Nims island and then some research.

Friday 7th of August 2015.

Today we started the day off by doing the roll and then we did the bus board and the news centre. Then it was time to do recorders.

After recorders we did the basic facts test. Them it was morning the 

After morning tea we did buddy reading then we did some research. Then we did homework.

After homework we did some more research.

Then it was lunch after lunch we did whanau groups then we went to assembly. 

In assembly we did awards.

Then asc did a dance.

Then it was time to go home and time for the weekend.

Thursday 6th of August 2015

Today we started the day off by doing the roll and saying kei te pehea koe? and we had to glue all of our un glued work. Then we had to mark all of our sheets. After then we had to do the bus boarded and then we went on to the news centre and found out who was in the hockey team. Then we had to mark more of our sheets and then we watched some more of Nim's island and did another challenge with it.

Then we marked our sheet.

After we marked our sheets it was time for morning tea.

After morning tea we went to the library.

Then it was lunch.

After lunch we did seiner singing. We sung Haere Mai.

Then it was time to go home.

Wednesday 5th of August 2015.

We started the day with JumpJam . Then we learnt a new Maori sentence in the roll. The sentence was He hauwha Mai i te kotahi matawa te wa. In English it means the time is a quater past one. Then Lennox said that hauwha mention something to do with four. Then we did the bus board and the news centre.

After we did some measurement and did another sheet and then we did gymnastics.

Then it was time to have morning tea.

After morning tea we did silent reading.

Once we had done silent reading it was time to watch some more of the movie.

Then it was lunch time (yum yum).

After lunch we did the roll and then it was time to go to singing La La La.

Then we played dodge ball.

Tuesday 4th of August.

Today we started off the day by doing the roll and the bus board. Then we did some maths in measerment.

Then we marked the sheets

Then it was time for morning tea. It was still raining so it was another day inside.

After morning tea it was time for silent reading. 

After silent reading it was time to watch some more of Nims island and had to do another challenge.

Then we did some time poems and you were aloud to put them in the time competition if you wanted to.

Then we had one last practice of the solo asembly.

Then it was time to do the solo asembly in front of the whole school.

After lunch we learnt a new moari word in the roll. The word was ko pomari then Elena shared some news and then we talked about what is skimming,scanning and close and skimming means finding out what it's about and scanning means looking for a word and close means reading all
