Then the bell rang for morning tea.
After morning tea we drunk our milk and did silent reading.
then Mrs. Roberts told us to put our books away and sit on the mat, she said you will read a story and we think about the author describeing the characters so we can make sure we do the same, and then we talked about what we know about the characters and what we think about the characters as well.
After, we went to get into our groups and did group reading, red group did reading eggspress, then the bell rang for lunch.
After lunch we did our moari roll, we asked 'kei te pehea koe' that is how are you.
Mrs. Roberts showed us a slide show about trenches from the World War One.

We also wrote on a big poppy things we had learnt about World War One, this is an example of a poppy:
After, we packed up the class room, Mrs. Roberts read our chapter book she is reading us at the moment, it is called 'The Trenches' it was about a young boy around 16 years old, going to World War One.
Then the bell rang for home time.
