30th Thursday April 2015

This morning we startedo off the day with the morning run, Ruru did six laps around the court. Once everyone came back to the run Mrs. Roberts called the roll, did the bus board and read the new centre, then she showed a video about growing your brain cells, she was going in the website 'the Anzac walk' and helped us with the work sheet we did at the library yesterday, then it was morning tea.


After morning tea we carried on with researching for the sheet. Then we went to the Mobile Library bus, once ywiedid that we came back into the classroom and carried on with the work sheet, since some people had finished this they finished off their Anzac Day front cover, or any work that was unfinished in their topic book, here is mine (Haylee)
After that we had buddy maths, then it was lunch.
After lunch we came back to the class room and continued finishing off work.
Then we packed up the classroom, and off to senior singing. Then we went to senior sport.
After that the bell had rung for hometime!!!!!

29th Wednesday April 2015

We started off the day with the run, us rurus did six laps.
Then we went back to class and called the roll, we then did maths as a class, after we did that, we got into our maths groups, blue, green, yellow and red are the groups.
Then the bell rang for lunch, some people had to stay in to finish their World War One facts on a poppy.
After morning tea Mrs. Roberts got us to read the same picture book as yesterday and told us to look for description about what he looks like and background information, people in our class were reading the story.
Then Mrs. Roberts told us what to do in our reading groups, red group read a poem about dawn service, then it was lunch.
After lunch we went to singing and we sang 'It's a long way to Tiperarry' in moari and in English, after that we went to the library and Kea class came with us, we did a sheet about places in Gallipoli, people got different spots to study, one of the things we had to find was a quote from the spot, Haylee and Erin had to study Quinn's Post.
Then we went back to class and Mrs. Roberts read the book she was reading to us 'The Trenches'

28th Tuesday April 2015

We started off the morning with the moari roll, then we did some maths as a class and then Mrs. Roberts sent the class off into their groups to do maths, blue group did place value multiplication


Then the bell rang for morning tea.     
After morning tea we drunk our milk and did silent reading.
then Mrs. Roberts told us to put our books away and sit on the mat, she said you will read a story and we think about the author describeing the characters so we can make sure we do the same, and then we talked about what we know about the characters and what we think about the characters as well.
After, we went to get into our groups and did group reading, red group did reading eggspress, then the bell rang for lunch.
After lunch we did our moari roll, we asked 'kei te pehea koe' that is how are you.
Mrs. Roberts showed  us a slide show about trenches from the World War One.
We also wrote on a big poppy things we had learnt about World War One, this is an example of a poppy:
After, we packed up the class room, Mrs. Roberts read our chapter book she is reading us at the moment, it is called 'The Trenches' it was about a young boy around 16 years old, going to World War One.
Then the bell rang for home time.

AFL Westpac stadium 24th April 2015


Well in the the morning Ruru and kea did five laps around the field then we went to the stadium and we watch half of the hawks and they were vsing Aus but sadly we loss.
And we got our papers signed.
