Tuesday the 20th of September 2016 🆕

Today instead of doing the roll first we colected the Jump Jam tokens and then gave out loads and loads of Merit Awards!

Then finally we got on with the roll, busbroad and notices. When we had finished we had a talk about becoming a green gold school, we had a look at a piece of paper on what it takes to become a Green Gold School, then we comppered our school to the qualities on the piece of paper.

We also had a talk about our learning and relating that to the whole subject! 📝=🏅

When we had finished we talked about making hub cap art, here are some photos ...

Monday 19th of September 2016 🆕

Today after the roll, joined by Kea class Mrs Roberts red chapter 10 of the book, "Emmy and the Incredible shrinking Rat". Not long after we all had a move around and then sitting back down to read chapter 11 of the book.

Quite a few times we were interrupted by the bell, it turns out that they were testing the bell, they had tested the bell the other day but for some reason they had carryed on today.

When we had finished we all got ready to go out to the twin lakes to plant some plants!

When we got back, which ended up being after morning tea we finished some of our work. 📂

 

Because we got back so late it was time for lunch not long after that!

After Lunch we carried on with the same work that we started doing before lunch.

At 10 to 3:00 Kea class came in and Mr Sheehan came in and talked to us for a little while. 

After he had finished talking we all went home and the day was over!

My blog 

 In the morning the whole school had a parade about all the characters and books Roald Daul wrote.

We then worked on our thank you letter for Ruth Paul ,who visited Plateau school yesterday.

We shared our BFG writing and then shared our thank you letters to Ruth Paul.

 

We did the roll and then went on our Chromebooks do our work and shared Graces presentation about Mrs Nadine.

We marked the homework then went out for lunch.

It was inside play because it was wet 

I did wet play for Paua at lunchtime today.

 

We had whanau groups and Green whanau did silent ball and Go Noodle.

We had 2 balls and we had to catch them to be still in.

We then did Go Noodle.

We then had assembly and we had the class items for today's assembly.

I shared my thank you letter to the whole school and some others did too and also some people are sharing their BFG writing.  

Monday 12th of September

 

My blog

Today we are explaining how we all relax at home.We then started with our maths and instead of normal work we are doing games.We are going to play the games with a relief teacher named Mrs Harrison they are bowl a fact and also greedy pig the ideas of bowl a fact is that you have to try to use all your numbers using minus,addition and and multiplication.We are sharing to the class how we got number four and number ten. 

 

 

we are now starting our numeracy task altogether and working out some equations for it.I am very excited after lunch because we can get on to reading time.I am going to do my sheet at home because I had ran out of time because there were not enough.We are marking all the stages first and now collecting the sheets.It is now morning tea and after morning tea we are going to the library.We all played a game called bingo and Jack won twice and Tane won once.The prize was a bookmark made by someone.

 

All of my class wore party hats and then talked about Roald Dahl and how he lived his life.We then told some jokes from his joke book.The class were laughing I was quite amazed on how he got so many jokes to make my class laugh.

Back at the classroom we are doing something which includes drawing.I am very happy because some people in this room love to draw and are very good at drawing.

It is nearly lunch and we are maybe going to play a game of dodge ball plus.Yeeeahyaaaahz!

We have just done the roll and now we are going back to the library to do a game with questions and we are maybe going to win because we have done all the tasks that the library sent us to do.

  

We are now throwing our paper planes at Mr Sheehan and we all got so close but Mr Sheehan moved a little backwards.

Tuatara won and Pukeko won aswell my class was so excited about winning the Mini library sprint.We all thought that we did a really good job on the tasks and thought we would of come second.

7th of September Wednesday

Today we started off  with some jump jam to keep our body's fit and in shape. After that we were talking about being safe if a emergency was happening. After that the year 6s where talking about year 6 camp and I can tell that everyone is going to be excited.Then we had a practise if some one came to the school with a gun people kept talking but we were good at hiding.Then finally it was morning tea yay it was a busy morning it was also wet play  

After morning tea we had silent reading and we haven't silent red in ages. After silent reading Tessas mum  AKA Kirsten came in and was teaching us how to design cakes in measurement and this kept the class hungry. She also teaches a lot of schools so you might  recognise her. It was very fun doing it and thank you Kirsten for visiting us she is coming next Wednsday so we could finish our cakes. After that the bell rang for lunch time yay it looks like it's not going to be wet play. 

  

After lunch we did the roll and Elizabeth was giving us a question for the roll the question was what's your favourite hand game. After that went to the hall for some singing then we have erichments and my erichments are baking and today we made afghans yummy.

5th of September Monday

Today we started off with some fitness we did some jump jam that will keep our body's moving. After that Ruru and kea went to the hall to check out the Narnia play it was awesome. After that we had to go and have some morning tea but sadly it was wet play. We went to the library to read Emmy and the Incredible shrinking rat. We had 2 minutes to get a book out or return. We went to go to kea to read a movie and the activity was mystery word it was fun   

We finally finished the movie. We went to the hall for solo assembly . We Watched  the play about Narnia and it was based on openness and honesty I knew it was going to be fantastic Simone,Caitlin and Elizabeth did a great job. Now it is lunch time and sadly it's still wet play.

  

After lunch we had Mrs.Olds ewe did a question for the roll and the question was what's your favourite brand after the roll we watched the dance splash video they where amazing. Then we were thinking about after we finish college or university what goal would we wanna complete

Welcome to this weeks Blog. This Morning We Started with Jump Jam. The Songs We Did Were I Like to Move it and Chocolate. Then We Did the roll and notices. Then We Did Maths.

 

We Also Had a Some People from Paua in our class this Morning.

 

Then it was Morning tea. 

After Morning Tea Some People Went to Dancesplash and The Rest Of The Class went to The Libary.

 

Some People Went to the board room for a meeting About Whanau Groups With Tilly. Who was at our school last year.
