Welcome to ruru's blog blogger today is me Elizabeth And this is what we did today
First of all we did the roll and jump jam. at jumpjam we definitely got pumped up with one of our super star routines Then we went straight into doing our must do's can do's for maths. in our must do's can do's we do maths websites like mathletics, we do board games and sudoku and workshops for when we don't get something like for example I'm struggling on my times table and I would really love some help then if there is a workshop doing times tables you would go there so you can grow your brain cells and here is a picture of my friend's sheets.
But to show the teacher that we have done these little tasks we colour them on our drive. Our drive holds folders and slides that we can put work and presentations on. We have got so used to using it is now as part of are daily routine, we also use it for putting links lfor our singing and typing down what we will be doing with our work. We have three helpers Mrs Roberts helps us and so does Pip and Mr Shehan. They are all extremely smart and lovely to have around.

Hello again I'm back from morning tea lets see what is install for Ruru now
First we started with Granpas Great Escape read to us by Mr Sheehan. This book is about a boy and his grandpa. The boy loved his grandpa very much, he loves listening to his story's of when he was in world war 2. His grandpa has a terrible condition from becoming older. He is starting to forget things he even has forgotten his sons name. His grandpa is starting to go back in time when he was a young wealthy soldier but his parents are desperate for him to go to a old person home but jack the boy is determined to save his grandpa.

After reading we went to science we are learning to observe closely at objects. Today it was a popcorn seed. We drawed what we saw then we coloured it in and wrote and described what it looks like. we are popping it to see what it will look like. we are also wondering what could have happened if and use are what how why when we are going to draw it once we all finished we get to eat the popcorn delicious!
We also got to have a say on how we think things are going on working with kea and if we like how we are learning there are lots of pros and cons on the document but we are just being completely honest on what we think and the teachers will look at what we have type and work on it to make are classroom a better place for the teachers and children. After lunch
Hello I'm back again from lunch let's see what Ruru has install for us
So first of we have science we are doing some experiments, my group last week did what we could see when we put a glass full of water and a candle and a sheet of glass In the middle this week we are testing what marble is faster on different types of wood carpet and objects this is a picture of what it was supposed to look like and what it looked like
We are now planning for are own science projects I am so in a group of four with some girls we have 25 more minutes to do this so let's get on with it we have done all we needed to do time to tidy up tidy up time time to put your things away after we learnt a 5minute lesson on physics to test different ways of making the Se saw go up here is my teacher and friend Zoe after physics we read Granpas Great Escape and read one more chapter yay! Then it was Ring Ring time to go home see you tomorrow!
