Friday 20th November

Today we started of with the roll. Then at 9:00 we went into the hall to do singing for Christmas concert. We sang Silent night, Te Harinui, Aoteroa Christmas and some others.

After singing it was morning tea. After morning tea we shared our homework

We also did our reading inquiry's.

Then it was Lunch. After lunch it was whanau groups. We played dodgeball against red and we tied.

Then we all said what we were doing in the weekends.

After that Mary shared some of her news about an iPhone case.

Then it was assembly. We sang fish'n chips. 

Then Mr Frater handed out the awards. 

After Mr Frater handed out the merit award.

Then we mentioned the new whanau group leaders for next year.

Now the Peer Mediators draw. The winners this week were Haylee And Nadine.

And Erin and Abigail got last week. Then Mr's Brown did the reading eggs award. The clases were Paua and Ruru. Then we did the whanau points. Yellow got 1128. Blue has 996. Red has 1098. And Green has 1115. 

Then we watched Paua's presentation from staglands.

Then Tilly and Olivia shared who the winners were for the colouring compition. 3rd place was Jack. Second place was sammy. And first place was Ariella.

Then Mr's Brattle told who the winner was for the class of the week.

The winner was Pukeko. Then it was home time.

18 November 2015 Thursday

Today we started of with the roll And then the bus roll. As we'll we came on the bus to stagland and when we got here we had morning tea. A man called chris came to talk to us for our safety and behaviour. Then when we were going we got a bag of animal food then we went for a walk to feed the animals and look around. At 12.30 we had lunch then we went for another walk around the we went back on the bus going back to school but anyway the best thing was when the cockatoo was on me are and it was smart. He was smart because it keeped flicking off our hats and here are some photos of the animals.

Wednesday 18/11/16

First we started with the roll then we went on a walk for an hour up Plateau Road, by then it was morning tea. 

After morning tea we did charater discription for 30 miniutes. Where we planned what our character would be like then wrote a paragraph which afterwards we shared. 

 

After that we did finishing because we needed to finish our reading project here is mine.

Now it is time for lunch. after lunch  we did the roll again,after we did  finishing till it was time for singing and we sang: Jingle bell rock,Feliz Navidad,silent night,Te Harinui and winter wonderland.now it is home time.

Tuesday 17th November

Today we did the roll, bus board and news centre.

Then Kea came in to talk about our maths.

This is our math wall the tells us what stage we are on and what we need to work on.

A group practised rounding and compensate.

Then it was morning tea and after morning tea we did some writing.

But this me we did a character description.

We also did our reading inquiryies because they are due tomorrow :/

Then it was lunch.

We did singing after lunch , we sang, I'd like to teach the world to sing, Feliz navidad, winter wonderland and Te Haranui.

Monday 16/11/15

First we started out doing the roll then we did our can do's and our must do's or our reading inquiry 

And then after that it was morning tea. After morning tea we did silent writing,this is the image

After we did our silent writing we shared our silent writing.after that we did some finishing. After that it was lunch time. After lunch we did the roll then we did singing. After that we did more finishing. After a while doing that we packed up all the chrome book and other things around the class room.after that we went home.

Friday 13th 2015

Today we did home work this is my home work.  it is about mars.

6 November Friday 2015

Today we started off with the roll then Mrs. Roberts handed how our calenders that we are working on.

Here is an example of my friends, we did this until morning tea.

After morning tea we shared our homework  year 6's have to do extra homework because they are going on camp in the South Island for five days. Here is another example oh someone's homework.

After homework we did art until lunch. After lunch we went to Whanau Groups not to long after Whanau Groups we came back to class shared what we will be doing on the weekend then we will be going to assembly. Soon it was the end of assembly and it was also the end of the day

Thursday 5 November

Today we started off with the run and roll, for the roll we did some Maori laugauge and then we started our calendar which we do every year. Here is an example. After we went to morning tea.

 

After lunch we went to the library and did some reading, some finished our calendars and did reading groups till lunch.

After we went to singing and then we did senior sports and our group did Danish till home time.
