Tuesday 31 of march

First we did the roll  . then we did  maths 

 

      

Then the problem solving people went to problem solving and everyone that didn't go continued 

Maths. There was a fire drill 

Then it was  morning tea then we drank our milk while   Mrs Roberts showed us this thing about World War One then Mrs Roberts read the book called: my story the trenches

Then we countiued our Maori pictures here are some of them

Then it was lunch time

   After lunch was swimming sports here are some pictures:

Then we played a game  of dodge ball 

Then school ended.

Monday 30th of march

First we did the roll then we went to the hall then the problem solving people went to problem solving then the year 6 people went swimming then it was morning tea.then the year 5 people went swimming then we did this sheet.

                                                                               Then we went on toondo to make a cartoon like this for Easter

                                                                         Then we played Easter bingo.

Then we did the roll.

Then we went back into the hall and then  school ended.

Friday 27th march

Today we started with fancy feet Friday Cody A funny feet 

Then we came inside and did the basic facts ladder,and finish our pictures

Then it was morning tea

After morning tea we came in and did homework

After we looked at grace's presentation about her pop he was in the army.

She was talking about were he got shot and saying what had happened to him in war and what he did.

Then we went to doge ball

Then it was lunch time

After lunch we went to whanau groups yen after that we came back inside and finished off our pictures.

After our pictures we told Mrs Roberts what we were doing in the weekend

Then Craig shared his news again because our teacher wasn't here yesterday

Then it was home time

Thursday 26th march

Today we started off with the roll with moari objects.then we got out a whiteboard and started writing numberson our whiteboard and showed to Mrs Roberts and we had to explain it to her and we had to tell her things about numbers and also Mr Sheehan cake in our class to check out our work.

After that we did maths

Red group did finishing off a decimal worksheet

Blue group did working on a worksheet and then they had more practise while the were waiting

Green group did mathletics then they went with the teacher

Yellow group was with Mrs Roberts then the were with pip.

After maths it was

Morning tea time

After morning tea it was silent reading and we were drinking milk.

And then we were talking about our plays

And then we did showing our plays who didn't show them yesterday only if they had something to show.

The group was showing us frst was a group with Erin,Olivia,Anna,and Haylee.

Then we saw a group with Ethan,Cody R,Elizabeth,amd,Mary.

Then we were going to draw pictures about our plays and display them on the wall.Here was a demestratiom.From Mrs Roberts

Then we were going to do our own drawing of our play we acted out to th class.

On our drawing we also had to put Maori designs on it.

Then it was lunch time 

After lunch we had Miss Downing and we caryed on with our Maori myth and legends pictures for 30 minutes.

Then we sat in a circle 

And played the ministers cat.

After ministers cat we did a team building problem solving activity and we had heaps of tape and newspaper it was a challenge 

Angela's group was the winner

Then we sat n a circle again and heard Craig's news it was a bullet shell and it was from the navy in a battleship he got it from his uncle who works in the navy and he gave it to his grandad and then he gave it Craig

Wednesday 25 march

Today we started ff with the roll then the problem solvers had to go. Then  mrs Roberts and the rest of class did maths

Yellow group did addition

Green group did finishing a worksheet and mathletics

Blue group did different strategies to solve it problems.

And red group was in problem solving

Then it was morning tea

After morning tea it was silent writing

Today's silent writing was about a jungle and we heard Mrs Roberts story then we got together our writing buddies.

Then we did some editing of our work for about five minutes then we had to practice our plays or if we didn't need to practise we had to silent read.

We saw a play with Kayla,Watson,Angelo,and Nadine and their play was about mountain fighting over their love with a beautiful mountain.

Then we saw the same play with Makaia,Toby,Justin,And Hayvn,and their one was about Maui and the fish of the north Island.

Then it was lunch time 

After lunch we came inside and did he roll then went to the library and Tilly shared some news from her great grandad's hat from World War One this s a picture of her wearing the hat.

We were going to see some bikes and when we got there there was a man with some bikes but these bikes weren't just normal bikes they looked different with big trolleys in the front of bikes and ir onewas a bike, with three seats and there was something like a rocket with a bike in it and it looked like motor.

Monday 23rd march

Today we started off with the run,then we read and looked at an article about Emmy Noether's 133rd birthday,she was a mathematician.

Then we started of with maths and mrs Roberts put a number on the board and we had to tell our neighbour what it is,and she was also saying what would it be if you added such and such numbers what it would be and why you were right and also saying how many 10 dollar notes it could go in.

Then we got into our maths group

After our maths we had morning tea.

After morning tea it was silent reading,then we did our plays,because by the end of the day we need to present it to the class.

This play is from Tilly's group.

Then after 20 minutes we went to Paua class.And a lady was there to talk to us about dog a and dogsafety and how you could take care of your dog and how you can stay comfortable around dogs and spotting if they are a good dog owner or not.

They were also talking about what has happened to the dog by looking at some pictures and we, watched and the video was about kids trying to touch dogs when it was on it's own and a dog was. singing a message that everyone should do and it was" if a dogs on it's own leave it alone",

Then the lady was saying what you should do in situations of a dog comes up to you what you should do.when it doesn't look friendly and you don't know it.and did you know it is best to pat their chest.We looked at dangers off what you shouldn't , and should do with dogs she asked us should you this or that and we would reply yes or no.the dog was really clever at doing tricks it tried to do a handstand.the dog was called punch the big dog,and he was 5 years old.

The small dog was saydey and she was 8 years old.

Then that was the end of the presentation at the end we had some questions.

And then we went back to class

And we had a look at a map of Europe when it was the First World War and about the trenches and we were looking at it because of a new book we were going to read and we are going to read because it is nearly Anzac Day and mrs Roberts said this year Thay are celebrating 100 years this year and trenches were holes in the ground made from mud sticks and twigs and they would stay in it to stay safe from getting shot.

Then it was lunch time

After lunch we did the roll and Mrs Turner showed to come in and help us with our Maori,legend plays.

For our plays we had some people working in the back room,weta in the classroom and on the porch.

Then we were going to act out our myth and legend plays.

First we watched a play about Maui going fishing

Maui and the fire

Hen we went outside for a game of 20 minutes dodgeball 

Then it was home time
