Friday 28th November

Today it was Friday so we didn't do the run we came in and did the roll then we did recorder.

After recorder we shared our home work.

Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we had milk and then we had buddy reading.

After buddy reading the kapa haka people went to kapa haka.

While the people were at kapa haka the rest of us continued shering our homework. 

Then we finished of our  work.

 

Then it was lunch. After lunch we did the roll.

Then we did some singing.

Thursday 27th of November

      Today we didn't have a run so we came in and did the roll. After we did the roll we finished off things. Then it was morning tea. After morning tea Mrs.Roberts read us "Mrs frisbee and the rats of NIMH" while we drank our milk.

Then we did some work and then it was lunch. 

After lunch we did some more finishing off and then we tidied th class.

Then we went home.

Wednesday 26 November

This morning we did six laps around the concrete because the grass was to wet to go around on it.When we came back into the class and Miss. Olds was teaching us so we did the notices and then got straight into working. First we learnt about celebrations such as our birthdays. We decorated a balloon on a piece of paper and then we wrote on how we celebrate our birthdays. Then it was morning tea. After morning tea we continued on the celebrations. Then it was lunch, after lunch we went to singing and sang California dreaming and jingle bells. Then we finished our owls and some people went to the library. Then it was home time.

Tuesday 25th of November

This morning most of the seniors went on a trip so we got some of the kiwis and one kea in our class.For the  run we had to do five laps around the field. After that we came back into the class and did the notices and instead of doing maths we did Rakau sticks.Then it was morning tea. 

After morning tea Mrs.Roberts read us some poems while we drank our milk. Then we went to the library and Mrs. Roberts read us a story called Mogs Christmas.

After that we went back to class and did Rakau sticks for ten minutes and then we 

made a whale. By the time that all that was done it was lunch. After lunch Tanya (Olivia's mum) came in to do our fish that we were working on and then it was the end of the day.

Monday, 24th November

Today we had Mr.White.As usual we did the run first. 

We came in and did the roll then got straight into maths. 

After morning tea we did some reading and if we had finished we got to have free time.

Today we had Mickey in our class he is Mr. Whites hand puppet.

Then we did a sheet where you had to add in full stops and capital letters.

Then we went out and played 3 ball soccer and after that we had our lunch.

After lunch we went to singing.

After singing we did a dot to dot.

After we finished that we went and played rugaball

Friday November 21.

Today there was no run (because it's Friday) and, we did the roll (Morei things) . Then did recorder. (Foe recorder we did Brazilian Moon, Caterpillar March, Moonlit Sea 1-2, Midnight Bossa1-2, Jamaican Jack1-2 and Rocking Train1-2.)

After recorder we looked at Mrs. Imray's baby then homework.(Not that interesting.) Then the bell went.

After morning tea we did sewing  until lunch.

After lunch we did whanau groups. After whanau groups we did Rakou then asembly. Then the bell went off.

Thursday November 20

Today we did the roll. After Mrs. Roberts handed out the calendars. Then we did maths. ( Not very hard maths. Example 63-48=15.)

After maths we went to the library.

 

After morning  tea as soon as we come in shared reading and milk.( With lots and lots of slurping.) After milk Ms. Roberts reminded us to put everything in the milk container. Then we did more maths. (Boring. A little.) After more maths w did finishing off. Then the bell went.(Ring.)

After lunch we did singing ( Which is weird)

Then finish off work and, when Mrs. Roberts siad we had to go out and play a game. Then the bell went off. (Ring ring ring.)

Wednesday November 19

Today after the bell we did the run. After the run we  went into our room did the role. Then we actually got onto the bus and left. When we got there we walked to Waitangi park. We all had a play after we had eaton. Then we went to circa theatre. In circa  they did red riding hood. (There was a 15 minute break in the Middle of the 2 hour play.

After that we had to go back to the park, and eat our lunch. After our lunch we went back to the bus and left. By the time we got back  school was finished. (Not that any one was there.)

November Tuesday 18.

We did not have the run but we did have the roll. (For the roll we did Maori things.) Then we did the bus board. Then we had to finish stuff off. Some of us sewed owls. After that the bell went off for morning tea.

After morning tea we had our milk. During our milk Mrs. Roberts read us Mrs. Frisby and the rats of Nimh. Then we had to do our asttle writing.( It had to make Mrs. Roberts interested.) We had 5 minutes for a brain storm. Then 40 minutes to write about the Marae. After the 40 minutes we had another 5 minutes tho fix it up. After the 5 mins ( minutes we had to staple them together.

After lunch we did the roll just like this morning, and Mrs. Turner come in and did art with as. There was 10 Mrs. Frisby minutes left for rats of Nim. Charter 15. The cage. Then the bell went off. Ring.

Monday 17 November.

This morning we did the run. (Year 6-5 did 5 laps. Year 4 did 4 laps. Year 3 did 3 laps. Year 2 did 2 laps. Year 1-0 1 lap.)

For maths we did Car plates. After Car Plates we had to do mathletics. Then the bell went. Most of us had bars from Mrs Roberts.

After morning tea we did some silent reading while Mrs Roberts did a test with Olivia

Then Mrs Roberts informed us on what we are going to do for the next couple of weeks.

We had to make a page of a book and we had to draw our self.

After lunch we did the role. Then we did some singing we sang  The national anthem a lot.

Once again after singing Mrs. Turner come in and taught us how to make a fish.

There were lots to choose from.

After we had to pack up and then the bell went off.

Wednesday 12th November 2014

The bell rang we went to the run and after the run we went to class to do the roll. After the roll we were talking about the Marae trip and learnt some Maori words but some of them we already knew.               

After that we got a piece of paper match the picture with the words.

Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we checked if our answers for the parts of the marae then we got our writing books for silent writing of a castle and a dragon

. Then we did a bit of crack the code math, and we got some math sheets to do in our groups.  

Then I was lunch time. 

11 Tuesday November

In the morning we did roll the roll and we have to say what our favourite lollie was after the roll we had a game of loopy.

After loopy we had time to do Poppy's for Armistice day and when we finished  making Poppy's we had some free time then it was morning tea time.

After morning tea we read a story about the takahē and then we did a colouring  comp for mitre 10

After we finished we watched a video of a baby takahē hatching out of its egg. Then it was lunch time 

After lunch we had the roll then we handed out the lucky book clubs then we got these little 

 Rurus and when we finished that we got free time then it was time to do a big pack up and then it was time to go

Monday 10 November

In the morning we did the run and when we came back to the class we talked to the class about what we did on the weekend , and after that we started doing math

After morning tea we did silent reading and after that we did our Rama and Sita presentations.

Then it was lunch time

After lunch we did the roll and Mrs. Roberts was asking us "he aha tenai" "what is this".  After that we did some science with candles and we were observing the candle

And we had to write down what we saw 

After we did the science we read rats of Nim. 

Friday 7 th of November

Today we came in and sat on the mat to do the roll.

Then we did the news and the bus board.

Then we did recorder.

Then we shared homework.

Wednesday the 5th of November

Today it was raining so we didn't do the run,we came in and did the roll with the question "he aha tenei tae".Then we did the bus board and the news. Then we did our last PAT test,then it was morning tea time.After morning tea we drunk our milk while Mrs. Roberts read some of the Mrs. Frisby and the rats of NIMH.

Then we were told to do our own version of the story about Rama and Sita and then we did another story about Diwali and how they celebrate it. Then we stopped and went out for a game of dodge ball on the netball court.

But then it started to rain so we came in to do some reading.

Then it was lunch.

After lunch we came in and did the roll.

Then we went to singing and sung the song Te Aroha wich is the song that we are going to sing at the marae.

But singing was short so we came back got our library books and went into the library.

Then we came back to the class and sat in a circle and played the setting game.

Then we went home.

4th of November

Today we started with the run and then we came inside for the roll,we asked the question

 "Kei te pehea koe".then we did the bus board and the news.we sung Te Aroha,the song that we are going to sing at the marae.Then we talked about our trip to the Marae.After that we did some maths.In maths we have to crack a code.

After morning tea we drunk our milk and then we did some silent writing. Then we shared some of our stories.

The we learnt a bit about Diwali.by watching a slide show and a video.

Then Mrs.Mod came over to the class and told us some very disappointing news that the Marae visit is NOT going to happen:(

Then it was reading time.

After lunch we did the roll. 

And then we learnt a little bit of imformation about Rangoli patterns that they have in India.

Then we made some our self.
