LAST DAY OF TERM 3 :-)

Today is our last day of term 3. This morning we started off with the roll and news. The question we asked was He aha tenai wich means what is this object then we had to ask Kei whea te...... Which means where is this object Then we shared homework.After homework we finished off our book covers.

Thursday 24 September

This morning we had our last jump jam for the whole year so we gave it our best then we came inside and did the roll then the news and bus board. The question we ask was " He aha tenai" which means what is this object. Then we asked "Kei whea te....." Which means where is this object.

Then  we went off to the hall for

" PLATEAU'S GOT TALENT"

Then it was morning tea

After moring tea

We drank our milk then we finished off our calendars and book covers.

Then it was lunch 

After lunch.....

We did the roll and went over to the hall for the disco time out party

As a surprise we found out who came 1 2 3 in PLATEAU'S GOT TALENT

And also Congratulations to everyone that made it into the semi finals and just tried their hardest and even got up and perform in front of people.

After the announcement  We started dancing then the rest of the people that didn't like it went back to their class and finished their work or played on the i.c.t. then the people at the disco went outside and played on the field then we came inside and packed up then left.

We also took down all the work.

Wednesday 24th September 2014

Today people in kapa haka went to the lane street performance so there are not many people in the classroom.This morning when the bell rang we went over to jump jam. The songs that we did was Borriquito and Funky town. After that we came back to class and did the roll. For the roll we asked each other kei whea te pene? Which means where is the pen? Then the other person would answer kei te            et te pouaka. After that we went and finished off some work. After we silent read and then went  out for a game of dodge ball. Then we had a shared morning tea because Caelen is moving back to Auckland. 

After morning tea we did some writing then we went outside to play a game of bench ball then we came back and did some more writing. We were writing explanations on how to take care of a stream. Then we went outside and played a game of capture the flag,then it was lunch. After lunch we did the roll and went to the library. After the library we went back to class and did book covers and calendars then we went and played Danish rounders and then it was home time.

At kapahaka they had a fab time and they were brilliant and I'm sure there will be a few photos and a video on the Facebook.

Tuesday 23 of September

This morning we started off with jump jam and then we did the roll and asked "kei whea te penne" wich means where is the pen. Then we did the News and the bus board.

Instead of doing maths we started with language. 

Today for language we were doing writing we are learning to write explanations.

Our topic is how to monitor a streams health.

Then it was morning tea

After morning tea we drank our milk and hade a talk about what to pick up and what not to pick up for

When we got back to school we put all the bags on the netball court and then went back to the class and read some of our book and then went back to the court and took a photo with all the rubbish.

Then it was lunch

After lunch we did the roll and some people went to kapa haka to practise for the big lane street performance.

Meanwhile back in the class we finished off work.

Then we packed up the class and went home

22 of September

This morning we don't have Mrs.Roberts we have Mr frater and Mr White  we didn't do any jump jam because of the weather we got straight into the roll and the question we asked was "kei te Pehea te ra" which mean what is the weather like today. Then we went on mathletics and got number one in world classes.

Then it was morning tea

After morning tea we drunk our milk  and went back on mathletics for 10 minutes and then went on reading eggs a part from 6 people because they where in the top 50 world or nz

Congratulations to

Gracie who came 1st in nz and 3 then 2 in the world

Will who came 2 in nz and 2nd and then dropped down to 4th because Gracie snatched it out of his hands;) then he went up to 3 in nz and then again dropped into 4

Then just before lunch we herd Gracie yell out saying " yay yay I'm number 1 in the whole world" Then she did her victory dance wich will be on the Facebook page.

Then we had lunch 

After Lunch we had Mr White

Then we went to singing at singing we went over the National anthem and learnt a new song "Happy" by pharrell Williams

After singing we finished off our work and played ghost

Then we packed up and left.

Friday 19th September

Today we did the roll first and got into recorder.

After recorder we did some writing and we are learning to write explanations so we are writing an explanation about streams and how it is so important to take care of our stream. We did basic facts at the same time then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we had buddy reading then the people in kapahaka went to kapahaka the people not in kapahaka did their calendars.Then we tided up the class room for voting tomorrow.

After lunch we did the roll and then went to whanau groups.

 

 Here  is whero (red) group we are learning about solar energy.

Here we are looking at the the solar panels. 

Then it was time for assembly and after assembly it was home time.

Thursday 18th September

Today we started with jump jam and came in and did the roll asking the question kei whea te ....... Which means where is this object.

Then we did some fractions for maths.

Green group carried on with our fractions of amounts

Red group went on mathletics 

Blue group did a math game and then went on the mat with Mrs.Roberts 

Then it was morning tea time. 

After morning tea we silent read and drunk our milk. Kade seemed to really enjoy his book because he kept giggling.

Then we went to the libary bus. 

When we got back from the the library bus we Did our reading groups.

In my group we read about consequences. Then we got to go to lunch.

After lunch we went to the hall for plateaus got talent.

Then we played a game of ministers cat.

Then it was home time.
