This morning was school photos

We started of with the roll than we did recorders 

After recorders we went and got our class photo done.

 

Then it was morning tea

After tea Kapa Haka practise was on

 So it was very quit in Ruru room I between morning tea and lunch we had free time.

Then it was lunch

After lunch we quickly did the roll and headed off to whanau groups.

At whanau groups we did what makes us a good enviro school

Then we had assembly.

Today was our last day with Ms.Olds.

We hope you are having a fab time in England Mrs. Roberts. We miss you!!!!

Today we started with jump jam and the roll. Then we did math. Today for the math game we had to draw a 3 by 3 box and ms.Olds held up a card and we had to put in the box who ever had the biggest number would be the winner. Then we wrote our name on paper and we measured it with a peice of string. Mackenzie's name was the longest and Lara's was the shortest.

Then it was moring tea!.

After moring tea we did slient reading then we went outside to see how far Valarie Adams threw in shot put. Then we read Mickey Mouse and the missing mouseketeers. Then we did our plays. Then we did P.E today we did.......jump rope with the big rope.

Then it was lunch time!!.

After lunch we did a flag activities then we read THE CAY. Then we got maps for our ski camp.then it was home time!!!!!.

30.07.14

Today we started of with jump jam and the roll and maths.  Today for math we did a game with cards. Ms. Olds would hold a card and the number that it was we had to(T H T O) put in the box that we had on the paper. Then we got in to more math and we did MIGHTY MATH BRAIN TEASERS. Then we mark some of it.

Then it was moring tea!!!!!!.

After moring tea we did the rest of the marking. Then we did read the two bad mice. Then we finished of the plays started to write.Then we had to peace and pice of paper and had a topic on it.

Then it was lunch time!!!!.

After lunch we did the roll. Then we read the cay.  Then we did some nz  disasters. Then it was time to go home!!.

Today we started off with  jump jam then the roll and after that maths. Today for maths we did problem solving. Ms.Olds would give us a problem and we had to figer it out. Then we got into more maths we were measureing with string we had to make the shape that was on the paper with the string

. Then it was moring tea!!.

After moring tea we did silent reading. Then we read about art of Vincent Van Gogh the amazing man. Then we did plays
 we got to choose what play we wanted to do. Then we did PE. Then we went to the hall to see kea solo about our values at plateau school. Then it was lunch time.

After lunch we all tied coconut. Some people liked it some people didn't like it then we read the cay. Then we did some things on the commowealth games. Then Ms. Olds tested us if we could remember the answers of the commonwealth games.Then we went home!!!!!!!

28.07.14

Today we started with jamp jam and then the roll. Math today we did a game called add to 33 and 27. Then we got in to more math and we did measuring we had to measure our feet and hands.We had to do the length and the narrowest part.Then it was moring tea.

After moring tea we went to the library and read the last viking then ms. olds sent as away to get some books.When we got back ms.olds read petter rabbit then Perrin and Kade read IT'S A BOOK!!. Then we got into plays we had to do what we are go to say and then it was lunch time!.

After lunch the school went to the hall and a lady called Marcelle she was a public speaker and came to    Stand up, speak up, speak easy.She was getting as to  be confident in font of people. She did every thing. Then it was home time!.

25 July

We did the roll first then we got our recorders out for recorders, After that we did basic facts.

After we did basic facts we checked to see who did their homework and mathletices then it was morning tea. 

After morning tea we had buddie reading then we made a cross word and finished of stuff that we needed to finish, after that we had lunch.

After lunch we did the roll then we read a bit more of the Cay, after that we shared our mihi that we have been working on.

When we had finished sharing our mihi we played a game and then went to assembly then it was home time.

24 July

First we did the roll then we played bingo, after we played bingo we did an activete where we were divided into groups and we got a giant hand and from your thumb to your pinky if you measer yourself ten times with them it will be your size.

Then we did that our selfs. After that we did a sheet then it was morning tea time.

After morning tea we read for a little while then we went into kea to wachs the commen Wealf games after that we wrote the title of our play then went and did PE, after that we played around the world then it was lunch time.

After lunch we did the roll and then Mrs.Olds read the cay After that we did our letters and stuff we need to finish off, after that we tidied up 

Then we went home.

22 July

In the morning we did the roll then we played some what dice.

Then we did some maths activities then it was morning tea.

After morning tea Mrs.Olds read some of the cay and we read and acted out  some plays and did a brainstorm.

Then it was lunch time

After lunch we read some stuff about an artist and talked about weaving, then we did our letters and Mrs.Olds read some more of the cay and it was home time.

23 July

In the morning we did the roll then we played a little maths game, after that Mrs.Olds gave out some soft toys and we had to build a house for the soft toy and that is maths.

This was by will, kade, Perrin and cole.

This was by Amy, Erin, Bethany and Olivia.

After that we did some maths problems 

And then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we read our book for a little while and then we Brian storm and wrote our ideas for a play and lily, Ella, Kaylee and Lara speak a play out. Then we had a look through the book club magezeens. After that Mrs.Olds read us some of the cay and it was lunch time.

After lunch we did the roll and Mrs.Olds showed us some of her weaved flowers. Then she gave us a sheet about Pablo Picasso and after that we coloured in a painting that was by Pablo Picasso. Then we played lollie pops and jellie beans and then it was home time.

21st of July

In the morning we went through the paper roll,telling everybody one little thing about what we did in the holidays. Then we formed a circle and went around the circle telling everybody what we did in the holidays.

Then Amy handed out the dice and we made one small circle and made a big circle around the little one so it was a donut and we played donut dice. Gracie won with 88 points. We kept our dice and went up to our desks where there were straws and we guessed what measuement the straw was.then we got given paper and we kept our dice and we rolled the dice and drew in a line what number was on the dice in centimetres then we got our rulers and measured the correct measurement and whoever was the closest to the measerment on the dice they got a point ,then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we went to the library and Mrs.Olds read us Queen Alice's palaces,then we went and read ourselves. And then we went and sat on the mat and Mrs.olds read one hen, it is about a little boy that buys a hen and that gives him a wonderful life and helps everybody around him with their lives as well. When we got back we got given a sheet of paper and we had to draw our name and the things we did in the holidays. Then we packed up and had lunch. After lunch we read a bit of the the cay and finished our holiday drawing and carried on with our letters.

Then we played look up look down.

Then we went home.

To start of the day we did the roll and answered Mrs. Roberts with he .............tena. Then we got time to finish work. Then it was morning tea time. After morning tea we watched a bit of the Kapa Haka performance from last night then after we watched that video we went to the mobile library and issued books. We came back and watched the rest of the Kapa Haka performance. And then we looked at some football World Cup presentation. Then it was lunch. After lunch we did the roll and then we went to time out party where if we were in time out we get 15 minutes off a movie but if we haven't been in time out we get to watch a whole movie:):):):):):):):):).

The movies is called epic.

To start of the day we answered Mrs. Roberts with what is this colour( he ................. Tenei, tera or tena) then Mrs. Roberts pulled out her six times table ruler. Then we did some accurate measurement.

And then it was morning tea.

Then after morning tea we did some silent reading and after we looked and talked about poems.

                                                                           

    Then we went to a Kapa Haka performance by our school Kapa Haka group.

    

Then we got time to do to finish work. Then it was lunch 

After lunch we did the roll and then we went to singing  and after that we got to finish of some work and then we did a quick tidey up and after that we played the ministers cat
