'First we did the roll and then we had a practise for the Christmas concert and we all went through the songs we were going to sing. And then the bell rung. After morning tea Mrs . Roberts read us a little bit of the Rats of Nim and then we had a gossip.

After we had had a gossip we all wrote down some answers to some questions Maidstone school want answered. And after that we did some sewing and the bell went.

After lunch we did the roll and then some more singing.(With the band.)

After singing we had a play on the playground.

And then the bell rang.

11 of December

Erin YAY THE STREAM WAS ON TODAY.First we started off with run,Roll and daily notices.Then we went to kea and sorted out the things that we were doing today with the stream. 10 people went down to the stream and started weeding and cutting. The rest of us did either sewing, singing, book covers, mathletics or reading eggs.  We did a practice of Haere Mai with the actions and we are pretty good from what the teachers said.

Then we packed up for morning tea we had a lovely vist From Bernie.

After Morning tea kea was still with us because of the Stream so we just finished off work sewing Book cover etc and Kaylee got her Hena tatto!

After lunch we did the roll and we were reunited with kea again to practise our singing.

Then with kea we went over to the hall to watch drama.

After drama we went back to the class packed up and Fairlane handed out sherbet that she brought in:) We read our book then went home.

At Maidstone Intermediate tonight the students that are going to Maidstone are finding out who there teachers and what class they are in.

Wednesday the 10 of December

This morning we didn't do the run beacause of the weather so we got straight into the roll and asked the qeustion "He aha tenei" wich translates to what is this.Next we did the daily notices. Today we can't do the stream for obvious resons so we were all quite upset about that. Then we went over Haere Mai words and actions. We also went over our asembly item for the last day of the year.

Next was maths we are still finishing off our investigation

After morning tea we had our milk and read some of Mrs.Frisby and the rats of NIMPH 

The we just finished some work. By that time it was lunch

 After lunch we went to whole school singing.

During singing we had a special visitor from Mrs.Imray And Baby Liam Imray ;)

Tuesday the 9th of December 2014

This morning we started off with the run. We had to do four laps around the field then we came straight back inside and did the roll and the notices. After that we practiced Hareae Mai the song that we are practising for the Christmas concert,we also had to do the actions at the same time and then we did some maths. In maths we are still doing the investigation and today we had to find out how big the theif's foot was and then the shoe size. After that it was time for morning tea.

After morning tea we drank our milk and then we practised our poem for assembly.Then we read some of our book called Mrs. Frisby and the rats of NIMH. We did some finishing off and then we went swimming. It was lunch by that time. After lunch we came in and did the roll and then we went to singing. For singing we sang Silent night, snoopys Christmas, jingle bells, rocking around the christmas tree and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. Then the seniors had a practise of Haere Mai together.

Then we went back to class and we had a chat and went home.

8/12/14

This morning we started off with the run. After the run we did our daily notices and the roll. Then we did  math. In maths we were finishing off our investigation.While Mrs.Roberts did some time telling with some people on the mat.

After morning te we had Mr Sheehan until 12:00 and we played some fun word games.

Circle story is when everyone says a sentence and it becomes a big story.

Alaphabeat games is when u say a brand or something  starting with a letter in the alaphabeat.

At 12:00 we had to leave our classroom and go swimming because all the people that are going to be with our teacher and our classroom came in to see what it would be like to be a Ruru person.

After swimming we had lunch.

After swimming we did the roll and went to sininging.

After whole school singing we did senior school singing Whea Viki Came in and went over Haere Mai and the actions for us. We stayed in the hall practising it until 2:55 and then we left to go home.

Wednesday the 3thrd of December

The bell rang we did the run because it wasn't raining for once and then we did the roll. After we finished the roll we got some ides for the leaving party. Then we did some maths because we haven't done it in about two weeks.

Then the bell rang for morning tea. After morning tea we read the book Mrs Frisby and the rats of NIMH. After we finished the chapter we practiced our song were doing in asembly and then did some reading. After reading we learned some stuff about Jews then the bell rang for lunch. 

After lunch we did the roll and then read some more of Mrs Frisby and the rats of NIMH and then we finished of our fish and our owls. Then the bell rang.

Monday the 1st of December

The bell rang we didn't do the run because it was to wet so we did the roll on a peace of paper because the board wasn't working. After the roll we went into Kea class to watch some folk dancing then we actually did some folk dancing. (Sorry I forgot to take a picture) Then the bell rang for morning tea. After morning tea we carried on with are fish. While we were waiting for a few people to get some paints we read a a chapter of Mrs Frisby and the rats of NIMH. 

Then the bell rang for lunch. After lunch we did the roll and then lined up for singing. When singing finished we did some more singing in kea class to practice for the Christmas concert. When we went back to class we started to make little stockings. Then the bell rang.

Tuesday the 2cd of December

The bell rang we didn't do the run again because it was raining so we did the roll but our board didn't want to wake up today. Then about 5 minutes later it woke up. After we did the roll kea class came into our class and looked at some photos from the Marae trip then the bell rang for morning tea 

After morning tea we thought of some ides of some memories over the year like ski camp and carried on with are fish so we more. Then the bell rang for lunch. After lunch we did the roll and then carried on with our owls and then went out for a swim in the school poo. Then we went home.

Friday 28th November

Today it was Friday so we didn't do the run we came in and did the roll then we did recorder.

After recorder we shared our home work.

Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we had milk and then we had buddy reading.

After buddy reading the kapa haka people went to kapa haka.

While the people were at kapa haka the rest of us continued shering our homework. 

Then we finished of our  work.

 

Then it was lunch. After lunch we did the roll.

Then we did some singing.

Thursday 27th of November

      Today we didn't have a run so we came in and did the roll. After we did the roll we finished off things. Then it was morning tea. After morning tea Mrs.Roberts read us "Mrs frisbee and the rats of NIMH" while we drank our milk.

Then we did some work and then it was lunch. 

After lunch we did some more finishing off and then we tidied th class.

Then we went home.

Wednesday 26 November

This morning we did six laps around the concrete because the grass was to wet to go around on it.When we came back into the class and Miss. Olds was teaching us so we did the notices and then got straight into working. First we learnt about celebrations such as our birthdays. We decorated a balloon on a piece of paper and then we wrote on how we celebrate our birthdays. Then it was morning tea. After morning tea we continued on the celebrations. Then it was lunch, after lunch we went to singing and sang California dreaming and jingle bells. Then we finished our owls and some people went to the library. Then it was home time.

Tuesday 25th of November

This morning most of the seniors went on a trip so we got some of the kiwis and one kea in our class.For the  run we had to do five laps around the field. After that we came back into the class and did the notices and instead of doing maths we did Rakau sticks.Then it was morning tea. 

After morning tea Mrs.Roberts read us some poems while we drank our milk. Then we went to the library and Mrs. Roberts read us a story called Mogs Christmas.

After that we went back to class and did Rakau sticks for ten minutes and then we 

made a whale. By the time that all that was done it was lunch. After lunch Tanya (Olivia's mum) came in to do our fish that we were working on and then it was the end of the day.
