Friday 27 September

this morning we did the roll and did a mix of Maori words and then we did finishing of our games. Then it was morning tea we had some morning tea and played until the bell went. And then we went and stayed outside and played a heap of awesome games by all of the teachers they did a wonderful job. Then we had our lunch and played a lot more the bell went and got inside and cleaned the class room we played our games and then got ready to go to assembly the bell went and that is the last day of the term happy and safe time on the school-holidays.by hope

Thursday 26 September

this morning we started the day by finally doing some more jump jam. We did the causal songs after that we did some maths and had our morning tea. The morning tea was done and Ruru and Kea went to a science road show we saw heaps of things happen and and we know more science experiments now and then we got back to school we played a game and had our lunch and did the roll and went into the hall to have the time out party we are having a load of fun and the bell goes to go home every one wants it to last forever.

This morning we started the day by doing the roll and watched the Americas cup.Then we did some of our maid up game then the bell went to have morning tea the bell went again and Mrs Robberts read 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit'   so after that we carried on with the games for the rest of the day

Tuesday 24 September

This morning we started by doing jump jam. after we did the roll and watched the Americas cup. After watching the Americas cup we did some reading in our reading groups then there was a change of plans and we went into Kea to do our games while some kids did the P.A.T test. We went back into Ruru and did the games for the rest of the day.

Monday 23 September

This morning we started by doing some jumpjam. After that we did the roll for the roll we asked "what are you doing?" in Maori. After the roll we went into Paua to watch the Americas cup, sadly we lost. Next we went into the library, we got some books out and returned the books we had before. The bus had arrived at school for us to go to Maidstone. We got taken into the hall and was seated and we watched some bands, heard their Glee group and the kapa haka group. Then we were separated into groups and got a tour of Maidstone. After that, we went into different groups and saw some of the activities that we would be doing there. The choices were; performing arts, cooking, ICT, hard materials, materials and visual arts. after that we went back to school and played most of our learning time when it started to rain we went back inside and did some work the bell went and we went home

On Monday we started the day by doing jump jam the songs were blame it on the boogie, borriquito and butterfly. After that we did the roll and said what we did in the weekend.After that we did some maths we had to build some shapes out of plasticine. After that we went to morning tea.

After morning tea we went to the library and we chose a book. Then we got a B-day card for Astaria and sang happy birthday in Maori. Then we did our P.A.T maths test for 45 minutes Mrs Roberts also read some of the book called when Hitler stole pink rabbit. After that we went to lunch.after lunch we did singing and we sang a few songs. Then we did board games. Then we went home.

Today we had a reliever called Mrs. Linehan and started the day off with the roll then went to Jump Jam. Then we headed back to class and did a task that Mrs. Roberts gave us to do which was to find out what 3D shape has the same amount of sticks, blobs, what's the shape that you are guessing is called, what type of shapes are the faces and what are sticks? and what are the blobs? After we had finished that we had to do a show me on the I pad to show what they have been doing with the 3D shapes. Then it was Morning Tea Time. When Morning tea time had finished we came back inside and finished off our 3D shapes, Show me and upload it to our portfolio and CASTLE pictures, at 12:20 we had to stop, drop and read for 10 minutes. The castle pictures had to be in by 1:30pm. After Lunch we went to Kea to go and listen to Alex to read to us a story called Peter Pan because it was Library Week. When Alex had finished reading we went back to class and played some board games then we had to go to sport and the bell rang and we all went home

Today we started the day off with the roll as we went throught the roll Mrs. Roberts asked us what character we were and what series/book our character came from. Next we went to Book Character Dress Up day Parade in the hall because it was raining. Lots of people were there including Mums, Dads and Children and there was alot of photo taking. We saw lots of fantastic costumes. Then we headed for our class and did some maths on 3D shapes when we were waiting for our photo with the whole classroom including the teacher and the principal. We had a great photo and a great time. After that we did a little bit more about 3D shapes and moved on to making 3D shapes with Plasticine and matchsticks it was really fun then suddenly out of nowhere the bell rang and it was Morning Tea Time all ready!?? When the bell rang we lined up and went to the library to meet Ruth Paul, she told us about how she became an author and a illustrator she went through a slideshow about how she made the books and what you had to be careful about when putting in pictures. She told us how books could be translated to a different country language. Later we headed back to our class and Mrs. Roberts read us CASTLES by ................................. so we could end up with more and better ideas when Mrs. Roberts had finished reading CASTLES we went to draw our own type of castles for the competition. As quick as a flash it was Lunch Time Whoah! That was fast! After lunch I do not know what we were doing because most of us were at dancesplash practise.

Today is Tuesday and the second day of book week. To start off the day we did jump jam. After jump jam we walked over to our class room.
 The first thing we did was a shapes sheet.After everyone finished the sheet we played some board games.
Then we had morning tea. After  morning tea we had to do the stop, drop and read the stop drop and read thing is when you stop what your doing and read. After we did our 10 minutes of reading Mrs Hemi read us a book called The legend of the Chinese zodiac. And after that we played more games. And then we went to lunch. After lunch we did the roll. after the roll we started our amazing made up castle pictures. At the end of the day we played the minsters cat and how you play is their will be a letter and you've got to say the minsters cat is a something that makes sense.
