Wednesday 31st July 2013

As usual we started the day with Jump Jam. We are now being rewarded for extra effort with jump jam certificates which turn into one Plateau School dollar. We are earning dollars to spend on free time every second week. There will be a system where we can purchase the use of equipment for free time. Mrs Roberts looked at the job application forms for bank teller and has appointed 4; Ashleigh, Sam, Clay and Ellie.

After we had jump jam we did the role and took it in turns to tell the class the name in Te Reo of different classroom objects.

We are trying to finish our shared book, so Mrs. Roberts read The Ranger's Apprentice for 20 minutes. Then we continued with our statistical enquiry into what types of games Ruru class most like playing.
After morning tea Mrs. Roberts read some more of the shared book and then read some of How to Cook Children because we are learning to write instructions. We then started writing our recipes for how to cook witches.

Some people's writing were particularly grisly. Josh did a great job of thinking up nasty ingredients such as slime from a dead cat and dog vomit.
Then it was time to get into our reading groups and read our group reading books. Ruru room worked really well during reading time and two groups were paid a dollar each for their efforts.

After lunch it was singing time and then we continued our research into games and finishing off tasks which we had already started.

Before we went home Mrs. Roberts read some more!

First  we did jump jam then we went in the class room to do the roll.Then Mr Frater came in and told us about ski camp, after we did some statistics then we read this book called how to cook children and we write wilf and the walt then we went out for morning tea.

 Then we got read a bit of rangers apprentice then we did gymnastics then we went out for lunch.

 After lunch Mrs Heemi came in and we were doing these holiday sheets.

Then Mrs Roberts read us a bit more of rangers apprentice then the bell rang and every body went home.

First day back 29 of July 2013

First we did jump jam. Then we talked about our topic this term.

Then we did maths in which was statistics.

 Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we went to the library, after, we start a holiday drawing sheet.

Then it was lunch time.

 After lunch mrs Hemi came in then we carried on with our holiday drawing sheets and some people tried applied for the bank teller.

Then mrs Roberts talk about the ruru class bank teller,then we read some of Rangers apprentice. 

Then the bell rang and everyone went home.

Thursday 11 July

We started of the day with the roll
Then we went to  Kea to see the winner of the drawing compitshen.

Then Mrs. Roberts read rangers apprentice then it was morning tea.
Then we went to the time out party.
Then it was lunch time.
After Mrs. Roberts read us rangers apprentice
then we played a game in the hall
then we played the setting game.
Then we went home.

Wednesday 10th July

First we did the roll unfortunately we did not do Jump jam.
We started of the day with finishing of work.

Then it was morning tea.


Then it was time for life education bus.

   
After we played the setting game
then we read  rangers apprentice.

Then it was lunch time.
After Mrs. Heemi  came in and finished off work.
Then Mrs. Roberts read rangers apprentice

And then we went home

Monday 9th July

 First we did some Jump jam to warm ourselves up.Then we did the roll.

Next we worked on our algebra and beach pictures.

Then it was morning tea.


After morning tea we read rangers apprentice we read 2 chapters.


Then we wrote some characteristic writing about our writing buddies about their personalities.

Then we read more of our book Rangers Apprentice.

Next it was lunch.

After lunch we went to the life education bus we learnt lots of things about being friendly

Then we did our beach pictures again and we worked on our life education booklets.

Then it was the end of the day.

Monday 8 July

First  we started the day with jump jam then we did the roll .Then we finshed off work

Then it was morning tea

after we went to the life  education bus.

Then we went straight to the library

                                                                                             After that it was pretty much lunch time.

Then we did in-line hockey that took us to three o'clock

Firstly we did recorder.

Next we shared our homework.

Then some people shared their storybirds.

Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea it was buddy reading.

Then we finished our Bad principal cartoons and did some more art.

Then we had lunch.

After lunch we had whanau groups.

Next we had assembly.
