Tuesday 17th December 2013

Today with started the day off with the usual run we do Seniors-4 laps Juniors-2 laps.

When we finished doing our laps we came inside and did the roll, then headed to the hall for one more practise for the Christmas Concert tonight. After that we went back to our classroom and we had morning tea. After morning tea we finished off our sowing then went out to have lunch. After lunch some of us tided our totrays out using the plastic bags we had. After we sat down own the mat while Mrs. Roberts read us the book. In the middle of reading of reading the book we heard the bell rang and went home.

Monday 16th December 2013

Today we started the day off by doing the run seniors-4 laps Juniors-2 laps. When we had finished the run we did the roll using a new Te Reo  sentence. Then we practised for the Christmas Concert, then it

was morning tea. After morning tea we drank milk while Mrs. Roberts read us the new story that she is now reading to us because we have finished when hitler stole pink rabbit we all miss the story but we have a new story that Mrs. Roberts has already started called 'The chicken gave it to me' by Anne Fine. When we had finished reading some of the book we went outside to play a game of dodgeball plus and bench ball? Sorry I do not remember what the game is called. By the time we had finished playing both of the games the bell rang and it was lunch time. When we came inside from lunch we did the roll with the same sentences we did in the morning. After we had finished the roll we lined by the back room door ready to go to Kea Room to do Senior Singing to practise 2 songs we needed to have more practise at. When we were done we headed back to the classroom so Mrs. Roberts could tell us some instructions for the sowing. We then continued on with our sowing and other Christmas decoration stuff. After that we had to tidy the room up, then Mrs. Roberts read us the book.

Thursday 12th December

First we did our run.Then we practiced our Christmas Concert we sang songs like:Mary's boy child,Jingle bell rock,Rudolf the red nosed Reindeer,Mistletoe&wine,Aoteroa Christmas and theNational  Anthem.

Then it was Morning tea.

After Morning tea we had our milk and then Mrs.Roberts started to read When Hitler stole pink rabbit. 

 Then we went for a swim.Next it was lunch time.

After lunch we did the roll while we were doing the roll we practiced our French and our Te Reo.

 Then we did our sowing and then it was sport.

And then it was the end of the day.

Wednesday

I the morning we did the run then went to Christmas concert then morning tea. 

After morning tea we had our milk while Mrs. Roberts read us when hitler stole pink rabbit.

When we had finished reading the book we continued on with our story time with Ruru

as people did there sowing then we went to lunch after lunch we did Ruru,s story time and at the same time we did sowing. 

Monday 9th December

First we did the roll we practiced our Te Reo, then we practised our singing utill Morning tea. 

Then we finished off our stories and our stitching then we went swimming with Paua then it was lunch.

Then we carried on with our stitching for the rest of the day.

Friday 6th of December

Today at Plateau School Mr Frater is looking after us today whoo pee!!! This morning we had Plateaus Got Talent. We had 17 people participate in it and 6 people are coming to the finals. Their was drumming, singing, dancing, gymnastics and lots more. Everybody tried their hardest to get in, these people prevailed Gracie, Ella, Kaylee, Olivia, Lilly, Lucy, Taryn, Olivia and Ethan. These people are coming to the final for Plateaus Got Talent.

We are now catching up on reading eggs, Rurus are braking records in it as well everybody is on computer it's a frenzy for golden eggs.  

Thursday 5th of december

Today we started The Run, after we did maths from the booklet the piece is called delta island.

Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea we drank our milk and went swimming, then we went to senior singing.

After lunch we finished our work.

At 2:30 we went to senior sport.

Then the Bell went and we went home.

Wednesday 4th december

On Wednesday we started the day with the run, after we did maths we figured out the questions in F.I.O time travel booklet.

At 9:45 we went to senior singing practise for the Christmas concert.
When it finished it was time for morning tea, after morning tea we drank our milk, then finished our storeys and read them out as a class.

Then it was lunch time. After lunch we did singing as a school. Then we finished reading storeys. then we finished of  our work. Then the bell went and we went home.

Tuesday 3 of december

We started the day with the run; Ruru, Kea, Paua and Kiwi did 2 laps round the field.
Tuatara, Tui and Puekeo did 1 lap.
After, we stated maths the whole class work from a book called time F.I.O.
Then it was morning tea, After we had milk we went to singing practice for the Christmas consort.
When we came back to the class room we carried on with our storeys.Then it was lunch.

After lunch Nadine came in to help us with sewing,Then it was time to pack up then we read some When Hitler stole pink rabbit then it was home time.

Also during the day one of our chrysalis  opened.

21st November 2013

Yesterday the seniors ran 2 laps of the field and juniors 1 laps. We finished off the rest of our work that we didn't finish off last week.


We started off with Maths and we finished at morning tea.Then we were going to complete our fractured faces from Tuesday and we did and they looked stunning after we finished. then we were going to finish
our butterfly pictures that we did with Mrs Brown earlier in school.



In the afternoon we did our life cycle of our own choice some people did sheep, fish, owls and stars. We had a great time with Mrs Hemi.      

November 19th 2013

Today we had a run as usual Pukeko and Tuatara did 2 laps of the of the court, Kiwi 4 laps and senior 6 laps.We are learning new Moari words like, Kei whea te which means were is it. Kei mua i a is the answer it can be. Mua - front of, muri - behind of, raro - under of , runga - on top of, roto - inside of, waho - outside of, maui - left of and matau - right of. eg. Kei whea te pepe Kyla Kei mua i a muri Sam.



Now we are doing maths we have to finish everything we started on last week, so we have to very quiet, so Mrs Roberts can finish testing us for intermediate next year. Some people are on mathletics and mos aren't and are finishing of maths, some people are doing book work some are checking there work and so on.



We're having milk again this week thanks to Fonterra, keep drinking milk everyone your helping people so much because, people recycle the boxes and make them into roof tiles and shingles. Don't forget we're selling worm wee, it's not gross it's very healthy for your plants, it helps them grow quicker and stronger, but manufactured fertiliser. Fertiliser factories create smog just making the stuff but worm wee not to worry, because it's just worm wee easy to get and it's cheap too.          

The seniors ran 4 laps of the field and the juniors 2 laps. Today we have maths but with a twist, we're watching the All Whites play Mexico, in football GO All Whites!!! And today we're having the milk from Fonterra  thank you, after morning tea.To every body who is drinking the milk it's really helping our school be more green and enviro smart. 

Also today, Mrs Roberts is going to leave school, for a math conference and Mr Sheehan is going to take for the rest of the day for sport, we're going to have oodles of fun playing his games like long ball and such. thanks Mr Sheehan for taking care of us today.

It's the 30th minute of the game 0 all GOO New Zealand!!! Mexico scored the goal in the first in the 32nd minute. Mexico lead 1-0. What an intense game so far Mexico attacking right and left. NZ lost the ball but Mexico missed the shot. Mexico has taken another one and missed it by a centimetre. NZ keeping the ball away from goal, Mexico got a triple header and go it in, 2-0 to Mexico. NZ losing ground to Mexico, Mexico managed a shot missed tried again and missed.   

   

TUESDAY  12TH  NOVEMBER


First we started the day with the run 4 times round the field for the seniors and 2 times for the juniors .After that we came in to do the roll to find everyone who got into athletics had  already gone to athletics.After that our teacher explained to the people who had not gone the athletics a bit more on how the chrome books.

After morning tea we did silent writing (silent writing is when there is a picture put up on the board and we have to write about that picture very quietly for about 10 minutes) we had to write about Christmas and the picture was of a snow covered Christmas tree after we wrote the story for 10 minutes we read them out to the class. After we did that we wrote some explanations on why you should buy plateau school worm wee and we wrote why it was good for your garden. We did that till lunch time.

After lunch we did the roll again just to make sure everyone was here apart from the people at athletics.
After that people finished off their worm wee explanations and then make posters for the selling off the worm wee at plateau school (soon going to be able to order worm wee in the school office).The athletics people came back to tell us the good news of what happened at athletics.After that it was the end of the day. At the end of the day we went home.

MONDAY  11TH  NOVEMBER

First we started our day with and run around the field and then came inside for the roll after that we practiced our maori good mornings and hellos.After that we did some maths till morning tea.

After Morning tea 2 of us went to do some gardening and the rest went to the library to get out books for the last time this year and to take back and renew books.Then we came back to class and read our explanations  out to the rest of the class

After Lunch all the classes went to other classes to do art and drama Ruru room went to Paua room and we learned how to do really good pictures of butterflies.We did that till the end of the day. Then we all went home.

We started the day by doing the run.

Then we did stuff on attributes of plants and mammals.
Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea, we did silent reading.
Then we did more on our explanations.
Then it was lunch.

After lunch, we did some of our school calenders.
Then the bell went.

Monday 4th November

When the bell went, we did our run and we did four laps around the field.
Then we did the roll.
After the roll, we did some work on resilience for solo assembly and got into groups.
Then it was morning tea.

After morning tea, we went to the library and got some books.
Then we started writing explanations.
Then it was lunch.

After lunch, we went to singing.
 Then we had golden time and then the bell went.

Today we started the day off with the run.
When we got back to class we had Mrs. Hemi and we got into our maths groups;
Red group: FIO Lv 1 Pr3-4 Pg 24 Green group: FIO Lv1 N3 Pg 21 Blue group: FIO Lv3 N3 Pg21 Yellow group: FIO N2 Lv1 Pg 19.
When the bell rang we went outside to have morning tea.
After morning tea we had silent writing we had to write about a castle.
Then we got into our reading groups and did our work; 
Red Group: Inkheart Blue Group: Nature? Yellow Group: Fire Thief  Green Group: How to eat fried worms.
Mrs. Hemi told us about the two partners who died on a mountain.
When it was lunchtime the bell rang and we all went out to play.
When we came inside Mrs. Hemi taught us about some plants and we did a activity on the board.
Before the bell rang we went outside to do some relay races.
Then the bell went and we all went home.

Tuesday 

 In the morning the hole of Plateau School had to do our morning run (today we ran on the playground not the field.) After the run we did the roll and some maths but before we did maths our teacher Mrs.Roberts introduces us to a new person in our class called Duvan. When it was maths time yellow did a maths book called cooking up a storm, red did mathletics, green work with pip,(pip is one of the helpers around school. And blue worked with Mrs.Roberts on the mat then we had morning tea. After morning tea we did silent writing and Faith shared her story. After Faith read out her story we wrote an introduction about a sport we like. we did reading in our groups.

Monday: OK to start off the day ruru room had to do some maths (yellow had to work with our teacher Mrs. Roberts, some people had to finish a math sheet and the rest just did mathletics.) at 9.30 people that have to go chess went. After morning tea ruru room went to the library and did reading for around half and hour. when we walked over to our class we looked at the library blog (it was about pictures on the edge of books. after we read the library blog we played kei te pai ( kei te pai is kinda like bingo but the person that caller is calling out te reo shapes. 

 

 

After lunch Plateau School had to go into the hall to see a show called spirit of Polynesia it was awesome it was about a person that travelled all around the world and learnt different Colchester and today he showed us a lot of the stuff he has learnt over the years and his son danced at the end of it. at the end of it it was bell time so we went home.
